Richard K. Aland
Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer / Director
Richard Aland, as an investment banker for more than 25 years, has specialized in solving the
financial needs of state and local government entities. He has been a leader in the municipal
finance industry in creating innovative financing techniques, sophisticated transit financing
mechanisms, complex leasing structures, and public/private partnerships. Mr. Aland was called,
by Privatization Magazine, “one of the four leading transportation finance
specialists in the U.S.”
In his business career with Salomon Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Kuhn Loeb and a joint
venture between Union Bank of Switzerland and Deutsche Bank, and Innovative Financial
Services, Mr. Aland was responsible for innovative and proprietary financing concepts and
creative applications of traditional approaches for public/private partnerships, financing of
convention hotels, toll roads, stadiums, convention centers and other major projects including
transit. He served as advisor to state and local governmental entities, transit agencies,
airports, sports teams and sports facility developers as well as to four major auto
manufacturers, railcar manufacturers, high-speed rail companies and OEM suppliers to the
transportation industry.
Aland earned a B.B.A and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Michigan and
completed the coursework for a doctorate in finance and international business at Columbia
University.
Richard W. Carrington, III
Acting Chief Financial Officer
Richard W. Carrington previously served as COO and CFO of M&A Technology which provides IT
services and hardware to K-12 school systems. Prior to M&A Technology, he participated in
several private equity-sponsored organizations: Constellation Communications, TransCare Inc.
(CFO and CEO), and Wyndham Hotels (CFO). In his earlier career he held positions of
responsibility at Merrill Lynch (Director of Long Term Funding), First RepublicBank Holding Co.
(CEO), American Airlines (Assistant Treasurer) and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Mr. Carrington has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from the
University of Virginia.
Kevin Cline
Manager and Director, Web Development and Technology
Mr. Cline joined Demand Pooling Global Services in April 2011 after serving as a Senior
Software Engineer for One Network Inc., where he addressed a variety of supply chain
management needs of that company. Previously, he served as an IT consultant to Experian
America, Verizon and Southwest Airlines. He also served as Senior Engineer or Member of the
Technical Staff of I2 Technologies, DSC Communications, Sabre Decision Technologies and
Worldcom. He is an expert in software development practices, and a variety of computer
languages and frameworks.
Mr. Cline received his B.S. degree in Mathematics at Carnegie-Mellon University.

CEO, Waters-Oldani Executive Recruiting, an executive search firm engaged in recruiting
of city managers and other public sector officials; formerly City Manager, City of Dallas;
Executive Director, Dallas Area Rapid Transit; Executive Director, Michigan Education
Association. Mr. Anderson succeeded George Schrader as Manager of the City of Dallas, one of
the 16 double triple-A rated cities nationwide.

Michael S. Levinson
Retired City Manager (as of Nov 2010) - Coral Springs, FL for 15 years, recently the
first city in the U.S. to be awarded the Malcolm Baldridge Award for Excellence in Government
and, to date, no other similar award has been bestowed on other governmental entities; the
City is rated “triple-A” by both major credit rating agencies (there are only 16
double triple-A rated cities nationwide; former Director of Economic Development - City of
Dallas and former Asst. Gen. Manager. - Dallas Area Rapid Transit. Mr. Levinson is a
recognized authority in governing circles and is considered a highly desirable speaker at
various events.
George Schrader
Former City Manager - City of Dallas and City of Kansas City, former President -
International City/County Managers Assn., now serves as a consultant to governmental entities
on the implementation of major capital expenditure projects and to companies that engage in
business with governments. Mr. Schrader preceded Chuck Anderson as Manager of the City of
Dallas.
Merrett R. Stierheim
Formerly Superintendant of the Miami-Dade School System (4th largest in U.S.). He served
two times as County Mgr. for Miami-Dade County (with oversight for Miami Airport, Port of
Miami, Metrorail, water, sewer, health human services, police, fire, etc.). He also served as
CEO of the professional Women’s Tennis Assn; CEO of Greater Miami Convention & Visitors
Bureau; City Manager of the Cities of Miami and Clearwater, County Mgr. for Pinellas, FL and
President of the Zoological Society of Florida. He also has served on a variety of civic
Boards of Directors and Sports Committees. He received his Masters Degree in Public
Administration from the Wharton Graduate School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Lee J. Styslinger, III
CEO - Altec Industries (Birmingham, Alabama), Altec is a privately owned company that is
the world’s largest manufacturer of aerial-lift trucks; primarily used by state and local
governments for traffic signal, sign maintenance, tree trimming and utility work and by
private sector utilities for electrical and telecommunications work, and tree care.
Robert (“Monk”) White
Mr. White is a Certified Investment Mgmt Consultant, having spent his entire career with
Smith Barney, where he rose to the level of Sr. Vice President. He was a Founding Member of
Smith Barney’s Director’s Council and was on Smith Barney’s President’s Council, Chairman’s
Council, Century Council and Blue Chip Council. He is on the Wharton School of Business
Director’s Honor List and received an award from Town & Country Magazine as one of the
nation’s Top Ten Brokers. He also is on the Board of the Modern Art Museum of Forth Worth and
the Fort Worth Zoo. He graduated from the University of Texas and received an MBA from the
Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
